What a fantastic week! We had a man beaten up and robbed, then helped by an ex-con. We had a corrupt taxman who climbed a tree, became a changed man and paid back all he'd cheated - four times as much! A lamb was nearly eaten by a wolf, but the shepherd arrived just in time! A man spent his life building a boat - miles from the sea. And a condemned criminal found salvation at the last minute.
44 children came, played games, sang songs, got very messy and created crafts. And they learnt about the Good Samaritan, Zaccheus the tax collector, The Lost Sheep and the Good Shepherd, Noah building his ark, and the Criminal Crucified with Jesus.
On the Friday, the children's parents and carers joined in - playing the messy game, seeing the drama, singing the songs and then sharing refreshments and a chat with the helpers.
It was a fantastic week!
